In Q3 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps apps on iOS in Sweden demonstrated varied performance metrics. Here's an overview of their weekly downloads and active user trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 22K downloads at the beginning of the quarter and reaching a peak of about 25K in mid-July. However, downloads gradually decreased to around 12K by the end of September. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, beginning at around 2.3M and experiencing a slight decline to approximately 2.15M towards the end of the quarter.

Google Earth experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, beginning at just over 3K and dropping to roughly 2.1K by the end of September. The weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at around 29K and decreasing to about 26K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also displayed a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 2.6K and ending the quarter at around 1.7K. Active users began at about 151K and saw a gradual decline to around 142K by the end of September.

Min Karta had relatively stable weekly download numbers, starting at around 1.7K and peaking at about 2.2K in mid-July. By the end of the quarter, downloads had slightly decreased to approximately 1.7K.

Speedometer» witnessed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 1K and dropping to about 556 by the end of September. Similarly, weekly active users decreased from around 1.4K to just over 1K during the same period.
